about

camila motta

family law lawyer

Camila Motta is an Osgoode Hall Law School graduate, where she obtained her Master's Degree. Camila is enthusiastic about Family Law, an interest that was sparked when, at a very young age, she penned a letter to the judge deciding her parents' divorce asking her to order joint decision making and equal parenting time. Camila understands, first-hand, what it is to be a child of divorcing and divorced parents. She also recognizes how easily divorcing couples can fall into conflict and has developed a child-centred practice that helps preserve the relationships at stake, while advocating for her clients' interests. Her empathy and life experience allow her to quickly build rapport with her clients.

Having worked in child protection and insurance law in both public and private environments before obtaining her Ontario license, Camila is no stranger to emotional challenges, pressures, time restrictions, and money constraints. No matter the level of animosity between you and your spouse, she will navigate your case with sensitivity, composure and understanding, ensuring that you have the peace of mind you need to go through some of the most challenging times of your life.

Camila is also developing a practice in Estates, Wills, Real Estate and Immigration Law. She is fluent in English and Portuguese.

Camila used to be a dog person but she is now a cat lady. Her cats’ purrs settle her mind after long days of managing her professional and family obligations.
